Car Wraps Phoenix | Car Wraps Vinyl Panel Repair After A Car Accident Will I have to replace my entire car wrap if I get into a car accident? This question comes across our studio often. The answer is typically no. You won’t have to replace your entire car wrap if you get in a car accident (unless your vehicle is totaled). At azpro we keep all of your car wrap designs digitally so that in case of a car accident or wrap damage your designs are easily accessible and re-printable. Car wraps are also printed in panels and not one big sheet of vinyl that covers the entire car. For this reason it is much easier and less expensive to replace the damaged vinyl wrap areas of your car. So if you get rear ended (depending on the severity of the accident) it may not be necessary to replace vinyl wrap panels on the sides of the vehicle. Just the affected areas. Obviously the car would need to be repaired before the new vinyl panels could be applied to the vehicle. Depending on how long you’ve had your car wrap on your vehicle it may be time to think about replacing the entire vinyl wrap. Typically car wraps have a life expectancy of 3-5 years before they start showing signs of aging or needing replaced (faded colors, vinyl peeling up, and scratches in the vinyl). If your vinyl wrap has been on your car for a long period of time replacing a panel or two may look funny because the existing panels may have a sun faded color difference. azpro has you covered from reprinting and reinstalling a few vinyl panels or rewrapping the entire car.
